Description

In certain situations, upgrading the fire performance of wood cladding is essential, such as elevating it from Class D to Class B. We specialize in offering solutions for such scenarios through factory-applied treatments. Our services include issuing a fire treatment certificate, which can be presented to Building Control Approval, demonstrating the declared performance of your wood cladding.

Alternatively, customers may prefer to apply the fire treatment themselves on site. We provide comprehensive guidance and support for such applications, ensuring that the fire treatment process is carried out effectively and efficiently. Whether applied in our facility or on-site, our goal remains the same: to enhance the fire performance of wood cladding to meet the required standards and ensure the safety of your building project. We recommend checking the classification report to ensure that the treatment and species meets the test data and application requirements.

Upgrade the fire performance of your wood, both internally and externally, with HR Prof. Our premium water-based fire retardant offers complete protection against burning and ignition while prolonging the lifespan of exposed timber under various weather conditions.

Certified to meet EU Regulation No:305/2011 (Construction Products Regulation), HR Prof boasts international recognition for its efficiency, holding Euroclass B-s1-d0 classification for solid wood (UK Class 0), Euroclass C-s1-d0 (UK Class 1) for plywood, K1 10, and K2 10.

Utilizing patented technology, HR Prof chemically integrates within the wood’s cell structure without forming a surface finish. This unique feature allows natural breathing of the wood while resisting fungal growth and blue stains, thereby extending its longevity.

Application is hassle-free, with options for brush, roller, low-pressure spray, or vacuum methods. The recommended application involves three coats at minimum one-hour intervals, ensuring a depth of impregnation between 2.0 – 4.5mm.

After application, the substrate must be dry, clean, and free from contaminants. While some color change may occur, HR Prof does not leach once dry. Drying times vary based on substrate absorption and environmental conditions, typically ranging from 24-72 hours at +20°C / 65% relative humidity.

HR Prof is compatible with decorative materials for over-coating once the substrate is sufficiently dry, with drying times dependent on temperature and humidity.

Certified and approved for Euroclass B-s1-d0 reaction to fire and K1 10/K2 10 resistance to fire, HR Prof is designed for both construction and restoration projects, offering compliance with EU Construction Products Regulations and enabling CE marking on treated timber.

Ensure optimal fire protection and longevity for your wood with HR Prof – the trusted choice for enhanced wood fire performance. Available in 5 & 20-liter containers and 1,000-liter IBCs.
