How much skirting board do I need?

How to fit skirting board
Acclimatise the boards indoors for 48 hours. Mitre internal and external corners (or scribe internal corners for a tighter fit), then fix with grab adhesive and/or pins, nails or screws into the wall. Pre-drill hardwood to avoid splitting and check for hidden cables and pipes before fixing. Fill, sand lightly and finish.
Finishing
Supplied kiln dried, factory sanded and sealed, ready for your chosen oil, wax, stain, lacquer or paint. Hardwoods such as ash and oak look superb with a clear hard wax oil or lacquer that shows off the grain.
