Description
Thermowood Redwood D is not a species but a heat‑treated pine whose cell structure has been modified with high temperature and steam to enhance stability and durability. This chemical‑free process yields boards that are smoother and slightly more brittle than untreated timber while still taking oils and coatings well. Suitable for both cladding and decking, each square‑profile board has eased edges on both sides and is supplied in bundles of four at 4.2 m lengths. The boards can be face‑fixed with screws to prevent splitting during installation.
