Cut-to-length 3 x 3 m decking kit (9 m²) with 28 x 145 mm green treated, reversible grooved redwood boards, C24 joists at 400 mm centres, decking screws and frame fixings. Ready to screw together.

Key features

• Sturdier frame: C24 joists at 400 mm centres, not the 600 mm commonly used, for a firmer, more substantial deck with less bounce
• Cut to length: every board and joist is cut for you, so the kit simply screws together
• Extra wide 145 mm boards: Standard Redwood Decking Board, easy to work with and reversible, grooved on one face and smooth on the other
• Pressure treated to BS 8417 at our own treatment works, to maximise the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years and protect against insects and fungal decay
• Complete fixing kit: stainless decking screws and frame fixings included

What is in the kit

• Boards: 20 x 3 m lengths, cut to length (28 x 145 mm green treated decking boards, grooved with a smooth reverse)
• Joists: 9 x 3 m lengths, 47 x 75 mm nominal (45 x 70 mm actual) C24 treated, cut to length, at 400 mm centres
• Decking screws: 400 x 4.5 x 60 mm A2 stainless
• Frame fixings: 40 x 5 x 100 mm exterior-grade screws

Please note

Kits do not include handrails, balustrades, newel posts, spindles, fascia or edging trim, joist supports or weed control membrane. The kit is designed for a ground-level or low deck on firm, level, well-drained ground, with boards running along the long side of the deck. Decks raised more than 30 cm above the ground, or attached to a building, may need planning permission or building regulations approval.
