PRESS RELEASE

INDIAWOOD 2006 : SUCCESS FOR EXHIBITORS AND VISITORS

The 4th Indiawood, held at the Palace Ground in Bangalore from February 16-20, 2006, proved to be a success. There were 322 exhibitors, 122 of whom were from India , exhibiting in 6 pavilions on an exhibition area 17,000 gross square meters in size.

There were 7 national pavilions: American Hardwood, Brazil , China , Germany , Italy , Spain and Taiwan .

A total of 25 countries participated, with exhibitors expressing satisfaction in both the number and quality of visitors.

There were 12,391 business people who registered at the entrance and visited the show.

Each year, Indiawood continues to grow more successful as the only serious trade fair in India , in a city, Bangalore , which is fast becoming the country's technological capital.

This is certainly no surprise: the combination of European and non-European companies making machines and plants for wood technology, with an events organizer like the PDA Trade Fair association, which is known and appreciated throughout Asia , has encouraged the success of the 4th Indiawood, the exhibition organized and supported by Eumabois.

The cooperation between Eumabois and PA Trade Fairs is based on trust and deep cooperation aimed at developing the experience and positive aspects of each one and achieving a high degree of organization that benefits both exhibitors and visitors.

The large world of wood product manufacturers, who produce doors, windows, furniture, parquet, panels, etc., visited the exhibition, where the most important companies in the world displayed their goods not only in the usual informative stands, but with the latest technologies in use.

Vast communication and marketing operations attracted many operators to Bangalore who were interested in renovating their companies' machinery and optimizing their production.

These machines and technology are in great demand by the Indian market, which is benefiting from economic development in many sectors, information technology in particular, but also wood processing, due to the higher quality of life achieved by some of the population, which is approaching a Western lifestyle.
