A Brief Report Of The Organization Of The 8th International Building Materials And Construction Equipments Trade Fair ,11-16 May .2003.

Following the policy Of Introducing Iran as one of the leaders in producing building and construction materials and equipments and increasing the quality and quantity level of this great industry and successful organization of The 7th International Building Materials Trade Fair , Tabriz International Exhibition Co. organized the 8th International Building Materials And Construction Equipments Trade Fair ,along with The 6th Specialized Exhibition Of Cooling & Heating Systems dated 11-16 May , 2003 .
282 manufacturing and trading companies in 5 pavilions with total of 23000 S.Q.M of indoor area and 2800 S.Q.M of indoor area were present in this Fair. Among these 22 companies from Turkey, Switzerland, Korea, Denmark, Canada, Sweden, USA, Italy, France and Germany were presented their products.

Main field of activities present at this fair were pipes & joints, Suspended ceiling, waterproof membrane, decorative stones , switches and sockets, floor and wall tiles , sanitary chinaware , door & windows , sanitary faucets, paints ,gas valves ,civil information bank of Iran , air conditioning system , stainless steel sinks, hot water circulatory pump , marine transportation , ceramic, laboratory equipments for soil tests , roof clay , radiator floor covering, building machines and construction materials.
Visiting hours were 3-9 p.m.

225000 attendees, specialist and public, visited the fair.

Important persons visited the fair were the honorable deputy minister of economy of Slovak republic, Mrs. Eva Shimikova , The honorable ambassador of the Slovak Republic , Mr.Jan Jursa, Counselor Head of Commercial and Economic Department Of embassy Of the Slovak Republic , Mr. Vladimir Pristas, honorable Head Of Turkish Council in Tabriz , Mr. Fafi Jemal Tosyali and Governor General Of East Azarbaijan Province , Dr. Sobhanollahi .
